There are several materials that are familiar in our ears like solid wood, rattan, plywood etc.. In addition to the material basis meterial There are several ingredients that need to be known in making furniture for household purposes such as block board, particle, MDF etc.

Here’s a little review of advantages and disadvantages mengenahi ingredients commonly used for interior furniture.

1. Solid wood
* Material strong
* Easy to set up an example: carving or chair
* The size is not standard

Solid wood is produced from trees cut into pieces with a variety of forms. Since the first solid wood is used for purposes such as home builders house, furniture, interiors and many other benefits. 2. Particle / Timber Press
* Less powerful easy to fluoresce
* Smooth surface area
* If in a nail or screw is easily separated assembly systems typically use a knockdown
* Size 122 X 244cm thickness of 9 mm s / d 3.5 cm

Particle or press wood is the material remaining powder from processed wood that is formed into a board with a standard-size sheets 244 x 122 cm. Base material is often used as a speaker to produce bouncing sound. Yet, it is widely used as an ingredient to make this furniture. The material is not strong enough for use as furniture household because it is easily break it will fall out if exposed to water and less able to resist loads such as weight, even though these basic ingredients can be used for several years while not exposed to water. Specifications and quality of materials are “Easy weathered”.
3. Block board
* The density of wood and adhesive composition greatly affect the quality of materials
* Size 122 x 244cm thickness of 18 mm s / d 3.5 cm

Block board is made from small wood pieces that belong together and then compiled the top and bottom sides of the layers of plywood 3 mm to form a board. Specifications and quality of materials are “Quality of glue should be fine”.

4. ?Multiplex / plywood (plywood)
* Density of coating and adhesive material greatly affects the quality of materials
* Standard size equal thickness and surface
* The size of 244X 184 X 122cm and 92cm thickness of 2 mm s / d 3.5 cm

Multiplex or plywood form thin layers of wood are arranged opposite to a certain thickness. Wood material for the manufacture of plywood that is used is a tree that can grow faster, so that replanting can be done. However, it should be a balance between production and replanting. the difference between plywood and multiplex are more layers while the triplex formed from three layers. Specifications and quality of materials are “Powerful yet quality glue should be really good so it does not break when cut and in a nail”.

5. MDF (Medium Density Fiber)
* Less powerful
* If the material can be exposed to the water expands and when the nail or screw is easily separated assembly systems typically use a knockdown
* Smooth surface area
* Size 244 x 122cm thickness of 10 mm s / d 3.5 cm

Paper is made of mdf that is solidified and added with some other components. If exposed to water, this material is easy to expand. Specifications and quality of materials are “Easy to inflate”.

6. HDF (High Density Fiber)
* Hard
* If exposed to water can not easily expand on in a nail or screw is easily broken.
* Smooth surface area
* Size 244 x 122cm thickness of 10 mm s / d 3.5 cm

HDF used to parakeets. Specifications and quality materials are “good but hard and difficult in cutting”.

In addition to the above types of materials are also commonly used materials such as furniture: rattan, bamboo, metal, plastic, glass etc..
